Wonderful Mughal Experience!

spacious room polite staff convenient location

from the start, the Mughal-style architecture and gardens impressed me. the room was spacious, well-appointed, and clean! the staff was courteous and ready to assist (i really felt welcomed). breakfast included both indian and continental options. the hotel's proximity to the taj mahal made sightseeing easy!

The bar service was a touch slow. It took some time to receive our drinks.

the hotel boasts excellent mughal-style architecture. the gardens were expansive (they really add to the atmosphere). the breakfast included both indian and continental options. the hotel's proximity to the taj mahal made sightseeing convenient.

The entrance has separate entry points for men and women. the female attendant yelled if you went through the wrong entry. the service at the bar was slow. Drinks took 20 minutes. the staff often stood around cleaning glasses instead of preparing drinks.

dishonest claims poor service standards

the gym had weights and strength training machines, a plus for me.

i'm really annoyed with the 'smooth talking' at check-in. they promised a room with a good view, but i got a window facing a weathered wall. also, i requested a birthday cake for my wife (i was ready to pay!), confirmed on email, but it never arrived (it's the least they could do!).

The reception area impressed me with fresh flowers and a beautiful chandelier! My room included tasteful decorations. I found the basement restaurant offered excellent and varied food. I also spent time in the comfortable bar, just off the reception.
